Mechanism

Calcium Citrate Malate: Provides bioavailable calcium for bone mineralization.
Vitamin K2-7: Directs calcium to bones and prevents deposition in arteries.
Calcitriol: Active form of Vitamin D3, enhances calcium absorption in the intestine and regulates bone metabolism.

Pharmacokinetics

  • Calcium Absorption: Citrate Malate form ensures high bioavailability and better absorption compared to carbonate.
  • Calcitriol Absorption: Rapidly absorbed; peak plasma concentration within 3–6 hours.
  • Vitamin k2-7 Absorption: Fat‑soluble; absorbed in intestine and metabolized to calcitriol.
  • Distribution: Calcium distributed to bones and teeth; Calcitriol and Vitamin D3 stored in fat and muscle.
  • Excretion: Calcium via urine and feces; Vitamin D metabolites via bile; Calcitriol via urine.
  • Half-life: Calcium ~hours; Vitamin D3 ~15 days; Calcitriol ~5–8 hours.
